Arriving on the South Island

We just had to get this one photo up to provide a better update on where we are, since we’re a little behind with our posts. We’re on the South Island! We got here on November 19th and have seen so much since then, but more on that later! We took the car ferry (let’s go Wyatt!) from Wellington to Picton, about a 3 1/2 hour journey, arriving via the Queen Charlotte Sound on the South Island, which was absolutely beautiful. We’re really excited about everything this island has to offer!
