Driving from Tutukaka to Paihia for diving, we saw a sign for an upcoming attraction: public toilets designed by Austrian architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser. I’d seen some of his work in Europe, and it was in a direction that might have a gas station and a grocery store too, so we figured … why not?
